How it differs
Why pick it
- Their name on the card: guests type it on site and it is laid out with their photo or AI portrait, in the colour you choose.
- Ready-made fields: the date in three formats, a number that counts up by itself, and pick-one options such as male or female.
- AI portraits: give the photo slot an AI style, for example a cyber ID card for a tech summit.
- Tap for the digital copy: write to compatible NFC cards so a phone tap opens the digital version.
Compared with
- vsStandard
Standard adds multi-size photo printing from 4x6 to A4, Live Photos and AI background removal, but has no card fields or NFC. AI Cards adds name entry, options, automatic numbering and NFC writing, and prints on a card printer.
- vsPro
Pro adds AI video, AR holographic photos, custom AI style training and paid modes, but its list has no card fields or NFC. For a card that carries the guest's name, choose AI Cards.
- vsLenticular
Lenticular makes cards whose picture changes as they tilt, laminated and trimmed by hand. AI Cards adds name and other fields plus NFC, and prints straight from a card printer.
Not for, or watch out
- Big, fast-moving queues: a card usually takes three to four minutes from photo to print, so add units for large crowds.
- Setups with only a photo printer: cards need a card printer, with the model confirmed with your order.
- Venues without internet: AI styles and QR downloads both need a connection.
Where it fits
- Company galas and trade shows: attendees are photographed, confirm their details and get a badge or pass on the spot.
- Tech summits: a tech-themed template with an AI portrait makes a cyber ID card.
- Fan meets and sports events: the guest's photo with the star or the team crest on a trading card.
- Gaming expos and gamified events: guests enter their gamer tag and get their own character card as a check-in keepsake.
How it runs on site
- Design the card
In the PepeFoto console, place the card artwork, the photo slot and fields such as name and number; the photo slot can take an AI style.
- Push and test
Push it to the device, send cards to the card printer on their own print plan, and print a sample before opening.
- Guest takes a photo
The guest takes a photo at the unit; with an AI style, most styles are ready in 30–40 seconds.
- Enter details
The guest types their name, picks any options and confirms the card.
- Print the card
The card printer produces the card, NFC is written if needed, and the guest takes it away.
- Digital copy
If the card has a QR code, guests scan it to download the digital photo; an NFC card opens with a phone tap.

What guests get
Printed card
A PVC card with the guest's photo or AI portrait plus name, date, number and other fields.
Digital copy
If the card has a QR code, scan it for the digital photo; on an NFC card, a phone tap opens it.
Collection
Printed on site and taken away there and then.

- A standalone edition, so no Standard licence is needed first; starter credits follow the order.
- QR downloads use the cloud album service at CNY 999 a year with 10 GB included; without renewal the software still works, but the cloud album stops.
